Sound Baths for Deep Relaxation in Kelowna

Deep relaxation through immersive sound.

Slow down.
Breathe deeper.
Let sound carry you into stillness.

Welcome to Stillah.A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where you lie comfortably while waves of sound from singing bowls, chimes, and other instruments wash over you.The vibrations gently guide the body into a state of deep relaxation, helping the nervous system shift out of stress and into rest.
No effort is required. Simply lie down, listen, and receive.

About the Facilitator

Hi, I’m Meike. My journey with meditation began early. Growing up in Germany, I was introduced to yoga and guided meditation at around seven years old, and practices that calm the mind and regulate the nervous system have been part of my life ever since.Music was also a big part of my childhood. I started attending Musikschule at the age of five, first learning the xylophone, followed by soprano and alto recorder, and later the guitar. Playing instruments and exploring sound has always been something I’ve loved.Years later, after attending my first sound bath, I had a realization. The experience reminded me of the deep relaxation I had often felt while listening to meditation recordings, and it sparked the idea that I could create that same kind of space for others through live instruments and sound.I’m fascinated by the intersection of ancient practices and modern science, especially how sound can help the nervous system shift from stress into deep rest.I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and completed my Sound Healing Practitioner Certification (Level 1 & 2) with Laurie Fulford of Harmony Hands Energy Healing. Earlier in my life I also studied physiotherapy, where I learned about anatomy, breath therapy, and the nervous system. My sound journeys are grounding, calming, and accessible. Sessions often begin with a short tapping meditation to help participants settle before the immersive sound experience begins.I use a variety of instruments, including Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, gong, rain stick, ocean drum, and crystal pyramid to create layered sound landscapes designed to support deep relaxation. Many people leave saying something like:
“I feel deeply rested, balanced, and calm.”
And that’s exactly the kind of reset I hope to offer.Contact
